Tranalysis: China Solar battery went up in export volume and value to India in H1 2016


Tranalysis Guangzhou: According to China Customs, China exported 37,796 pieces of solar batteries in H1 2016, up 19% YoY, with the total export value of USD 6.06 billion, up 1.5% YoY.

In H1 2016, solar batteries in China were mainly exported to India, Korea and Japan. Specifically,

90.8 million pieces of solar batteries were exported to India, taking up 24% of the total export volume; 72.9 million pieces of solar batteries were exported to Korea, taking up 19% of the total export volume; and 30.74 million pieces of solar batteries were exported to Japan, taking up 8% of the total export volume.

 

The average export price of solar battery to most of the countries decreased, with the price of USD16.03/piece, down 14.97% YoY.

 

 

Specifically, the average export price of solar battery to France in H1 2015 was USD13.48/piece while it fell to USD2.21/piece in H1 2016, down 83.58% YoY. The average export price of solar battery to Philippine was USD5.78/piece in H1 2016, down 50.47% YoY. Though the export volume of solar battery to Korea increased, the average export price went down 20.44%.

 

Different from the other countries, in H1 2016, the export volume of solar battery to India increased 39.82% and the average export price was up 84.92%. India has become the most major export destinations in solar battery in China.
